Jet Oscillation Frequency Characterization of a Sweeping Jet Actuator
The jet oscillation frequency is predicted by analyzing velocity time histories at the actuator exit. A linear relationship between the jet oscillation frequency and time-averaged exit nozzle Mach number is found. We calculated the Strouhal number and founds that it is constant with the Mach number for the subsonic oscillating jet and has an average value of St = 0.0131.

Flow-Separation Control Using Sweeping Jet Actuator
Transformational aerodynamic technologies will play a vital role in improving the next generation aircraft’s performance and contribute enormously to the product cost and operability. Active flow control (AFC) is one of the promising technologies to control boundary-layer separation, mixing, and noise.
Flow-Separation Control Using Sweeping Jet Actuator
The SWJ actuator reduced the separation bubble size in all cases, and the reattachment point moved upstream by 41%.

Evaluation of Riemann flux solvers for WENO reconstruction schemes: Kelvin-Helmholtz instability
The Kelvin–Helmholtz instability is solved to study shear-driven turbulent flows. Efficacy and accuracy of several Riemann solvers for WENO schemes are investigated. Eddy resolving properties and turbulence statistics are studied.
